HOW TO PAY STARTIMES SUBSCRIPTION USING MPESA

Let’s be honest. Star times probably have the worst customer service to ever. One time, I tried fruitlessly to get hold of those folks over there to guide me on how to pay my subscription. Do they even have a website for real? Oh, yes they do. But it never works does it.

Well, if you have a startimes decoder, here is how to pay that subscription.

Go to Mpesa Menu

Select Lipa na M-PESA

Select Paybill

Enter Startimes paybill number 58 58 58 as the Business Number 

Enter your smart card number as the account number

Enter amount you wish to pay (dependent on subscription)

Enter password

You should receive an SMS confirmation from both Startimes and Mpesa. Enjoy watching your favorite channels on Startimes

HOW TO SEND MONEY FROM MPESA TO KCB

Sending money to your KCB account from Mpesa shouldn’t be too difficult. Plus, if you are registered in the KCB M-Benki account, then it’s absolutely FREE!!!. As in, no Mpesa Charges and no KCB Charges. How wonderful. In fact, in order to skip the crazy mpesa withdrawal fees, I usually send all my Mpesa receipts to my KCB account and then only end up incurring the ATM withdrawal charges, which is KES. 30. Don't tell anyone though lest Safaricom hear this and act. 

Here is the procedure

Go to Mpesa Menu

Select Lipa na M-PESA

Select Paybill

Enter Business Number 522 522

Enter your KCB account number as the account number

Enter amount you wish to send

Enter password

You should receive an SMS confirmation within the minute from both KCB and Mpesa. Good luck banking on your mobile
